I'm a travel nut and I'm obsessed with all aspects of air travel. One of my greatest joys is sitting on a plane at 39,000 feet. I love advising members on in-flight entertainment and catering, airport lounges and the best places to sit on a specific airplane. I've probably clocked up more hours in planes than the average air steward!

I also have some great contacts within the hotel trade, and keep up to date with all new developments, hotel openings and future ideas.

My time looking after the extended hours team means I've been involved in most areas that we cover. Days (or nights) are never the same, and requests are usually urgent and call for quick and decisive thinking: a ‘normal' night could involve working on a last-minute flight to New York while at the same time trying to find a late-night pharmacy in Dubai. I handled requests ranging from tracking down a rare Greek wine in New York to arranging a high-profile royal's appearance on a Middle East talk show.

Now I look after hotel supplier relations. When I'm not globetrotting, I like to go to the cinema, listening to (all types) of music and shopping.
