Jonathan Newall
I've been fascinated by cars since I was a young lad and I sold my first aged 11. But maybe it was inevitable that I'd show an early interest in motoring: I was born above a car dealership in Cheshire. I spent a lot of my childhood out on the forecourt checking out cars and getting a feel for what people wanted.
Short of making my own car, there's little in the motor trade I haven't done: I've trained in service and repairs, and worked in supply, car sales and management - the ideal preparation for my role as supplier manager for our motor department. I know the car industry inside out, and help members track down exactly the right kind of car for them, whether they're a motoring novice unsure what to go for or a sports-car fanatic after the latest Lamborghini.
Before joining lifestyle concierge I was the principal dealer for three different dealerships and that, together with my previous experience, has given me the inside track on all aspects of car sales, servicing and repairs. My experience means I know how to get the best deal for members.
I also help members sell their cars, offer advice on how best to maintain older models and deal with more unusual requests, such as setting up track days or renting out a vintage Aston Martin.
In my free time I enjoy fishing and watching my daughters compete in show jumping competitions.
