I think of myself as a kind of 'Mr Fixer' for India, the Indian Ocean, Africa and the Arabian Gulf for Ten's travel team.
I ran a successful luxury tour operator before I joined Ten and I have extensive experience within the travel industry. I've dealt with all aspects of the industry, from hoteliers to ground arrangements, and I thrive in arranging luxury and specialist holidays, such as safaris and cultural tours. I'm multi-lingual and I put my language skills to good use organising great trips for members.
My forte is being able to access the inaccessible through my extensive contacts. I use my insider knowledge to help members charter everything from private islands to boutique hotels.
I regularly visit the destinations I cover and know them intimately, so I know when and where to go. As some of the destinations are less familiar to tourists, I really enjoy recommending lesser-known places to go and suggesting things to see and do.
My interests include current affairs, zoology, photography, field sports and good food - I love recommending my favourite restaurants in Africa and India to members. One of my biggest passions is philanthropy: I've been involved in projects in Sri Lanka after the tsunami, Kenya and Zanzibar.
