I'm one of the event managers at Ten and my main focus, and my biggest love, is sport. I look after tickets for sporting and outdoor events, everything from Premiership matches to the Brazilian Formula One Grand Prix. I also love stadium gigs, and particularly like seeing bands at the O2, London's best new music venue.
A lot of this job is about contacts, and over the years I've built up relationships with sporting venues and promoters that mean I can access hospitality packages and VIP areas for members. Members tend to be such a nice bunch that people are quite keen to have them in their party areas.
I'm from Stuttgart but moved to the UK five years ago. Initially I planned to stay for a year to finish my degree, but I ended up staying permanently after I fell in love with the UK. Out of the many sports I love, I enjoy football the most and follow Arsenal. The Emirates Stadium is my favourite hang out.
On a Saturday night, you'll find me at my local bar, having a few G&Ts, before heading to a bar or club in the West End for a dance. All in the name of research for Ten's entertainment team, of course.
