‘Whether you’re just looking to book a tee-time or charter a private jet for a golf holiday, our experts have the golf knowledge to make it happen,’ says Neil Docking, lifestyle manager and golf pro. Here are just a few of the ways that we can help you with your golf game: call us to talk through your plans to tee off.
Sourcing the best courses
When you’re travelling, whether for business, on holiday, or with family, we can find the best course where you’re staying. With a full-time pro here at your disposal, we know where to look and how to get into the best courses (provided it’s possible). ‘How far in advance you can book, varies from place to place,’ Neil says, ‘but we can give you informed advice.’

Handicap cards
‘Most courses now require a handicap card for you to play,’ Neil says. ‘This applies to most courses abroad, and thus the time and effort spent to get a card is well worth it.’ Give us a call and we’ll let you know the quickest and easiest way to organise one.
Golf holidays
We frequently arrange golfing trips for our members – from low budget weekend getaways to bespoke golf adventures. ‘We’ve organised helicopters to drop members off at country clubs, as well as sent members for a night’s stay and a round of golf at The Belfry in Warwickshire for £99,’ Neil says. We can also secure tee-times at the Old Course at St Andrews in Scotland, helping our members avoid the ballot. ‘A group of our members have taken a private jet from San Francisco to Las Vegas for a two-week golf holiday, complete with gambling and VIP service,’ Neil says.
Watching from the sidelines
The Ryder Cup and The Open Championship are two of the biggest events on the sporting calendar, and we can help members seize the chance to watch the best players in the world from a few feet away. ‘We have sourced VIP and hospitality tickets for our members, so let us know if that’s something that would interest you,’ says Neil.
Play with the pros
Have you ever imagined a fantasy fourball? We have access to some of the best pros in the world. Try your hand against Ian Poulter or pick up some Ryder Cup Captain’s advice from Colin Montgomerie. ‘We have contacts with some of the biggest sports agents, as well as individual stars,’ Neil says. For example, at this year’s Masters our members had the chance to bid for a round with golfing legend Gary Player. At this year’s Open Championship, had the opportunity to slip in a round with former Masters Champion Angel Cabrera. We arranged this in July; the package included a round with Angel, a session with his coach and a dinner.
New to golf?
‘We can provide advice to golfers of all levels,’ Neil says. ‘If you’re interested in starting to play, we can help you find great instruction and source you all the required kit.’ And if your partner or a family member is a golf fan, we can help surprise them with great golf-related gifts – and organise time in the spa or on the beach if you want to accompany them on holiday.
