We've asked our entertainment team to pick some of their favourite children’s shows touring the UK over the next few months. Call us to find out about specific dates and locations for any of the productions below or to book tickets.
Our lifestyle managers can also put together a bespoke list of what's on at your nearest theatres, tailored to your child’s age and interests, help with family-friendly restaurants or offer a host of other ideas on how to keep the children busy.
Fireman Sam
On tour from January to June 2012
The start of next year will see the townspeople of Pontypandy holding their first ever music festival, featuring a special guest booked by Station Officer Steele. The day, however, proves to be one of Fireman Sam’s busiest after he is called in to save the festival from disaster and stop naughty Norman Price from causing mischief. After a hugely successful initial run, the second leg of the tour is expected to be very popular – call us to book your tickets while they’re available.
Peppa Pig's Treasure Hunt
On tour until July 2012
Peppa, Danny Dog and George are all heading out for a day of fun on Grandad Dog’s boat, in the hope of finding some pirate treasure. Children will be asked to help Peppa and her friends in their adventure as well as sing along with the cast. Based on the BAFTA award-winning TV programme, this colourful puppet show is a fun-packed introduction to theatre for youngsters.

Bob the Builder
On tour until April 2012
He may have a number one music single under his belt, but it’s Bob the Builder’s live theatrical show that annually sells out arenas across the country. The hard-working handyman will be fixing things on stage with his friends Spud, Muck, Dizzy, Lofty and Roley – call a lifestyle manager to find out when Bob is appearing at a venue near you.
Matilda the Musical
18 October 2011 to 12 February 2012
A stage adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic, Matilda the Musical has so far been a huge success both with critics and theatre-goers. The Royal Shakespeare Company joined forces with the multi-award winning musical comedian Tim Minchin last year to create this spirited production, which looks set to become big news when it arrives in London in October. Minchin and scriptwriter Dennis Kelly strike an assured balance between cartoonish, light-hearted comedy and darkly edged satire to create a rebellious and witty show.
